YoRK FRIENDSHIP
CLUB INC

The York Friendship Club Inc. is a small group of local women from York, with lots of local support.

They meet once a month and decide which charity to forward the latest proceeds to.

A local op-shop is open every Thursday from 10am until 4pm (Harvey Street, behind Generations).

A monthly market is also held in the Peace Park on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Previous fundraising proceeds have been donated to;

UNHCR (Syria)

Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without borders)

Fred Hollows

Red Cross (Ebola)

Oxfam

World Vision

Salvation Army (Homeless)

Every year they donate 100% of the gate takings from the York Medieval Fayre to the homeless.
